Synopsis

CECILIA "CECE" SILVERIA is a single mother trying to scrape by financially. She teaches as a substitute by day and cocktails the casino floor for tips at night - all in an effort to provide for her diabetic eight year old son, MAX.

Her older brother, DANTE SILVERIA, has been recently released from prison after serving seven years. Cece offers him to stay, while he attempts to reacclimatize into society. The two siblings have history and differences are raw, but Cece's efforts (sometimes failing) are always aimed to provide a better life for for Max.

With Dante expecting a large payout that isn't delivered upon his release, matched with Cece's substitute teacher opportunities drying up, her insurance won't cover Max's expensive medication, overdue bills, and an impending eviction, Cece problems seem insurmountable.

She feels stuck. With no way to make things better for herself and her family...

That is until Dante's former criminal partner, JULIAN 'JUKES' FRANKLIN, offers up an opportunity to get Dante's pocket full and Cece's head above water: it'll just take robbing a drug stash house.

As the potential windfall seems too good to be true- the trio go through with the heist, but once on their victory lap, Cece and Dante are quick to discover they have kicked the hornets nest of ring-leader TOMMY NUTS and his very dangerous business associates.

With an explosive ending inspired by the showdown of the classic Western, the "inspired by true events" story will leave audiences reeling, wondering was the cost of what was lost worth Cece trying to turn a negative situation into a positive future for her son...
