In her annual speech for the New Year, Queen Margrethe II expresses hope for the concepts of freedom, and the dialogue in which all respect the opinions of others. She also expresses understanding for the insecurity that is felt, especially in a time of crisis and unemployment, and sends her traditional greetings to all parts of the kingdom, including a few words in Faroese and Greenlandic.—Peter Brandt Nielsen
