When a mysterious neighbor named Bud enters the home of Stella and Corona, a psychedelic whirlwind of healing, chaos, and partying ensues. Stella is a bedridden widow in desperate need of attention and beer. Stella's daughter, Corona, is a suicidal, opioid addicted prostitute and mother of three. Between the death of her father and the resulting paralytic state of her mother's emotional health, Corona is left to support her family alone. The unexpected romance between Bud, Stella, and Corona leads them through the darkest roads of the heart. Yet, it's only by facing their shameful realities that this broken family can find peace at last.
