Dress Rehearsal is an irreverent, humorous, and ultimately intimate portrait at the intersection of split second judgment and personal identity. As its premise, this short video answers the rhetorical question what do our clothes say about ourselves, with this question: what do we say about ourselves when our clothes make a statement? We encounter a fascinating array of characters emerging from NYC's streets donning t-shirts with wild declarations. Subjects judge, are judged and attempt to find words to explain themselves. The result is a poignant yet gentle mediation on self-perception.—Anonymous
