A bonding company sends an investigator to China to find out if one of its clients actually stole $7,000,000 worth of gold as claimed by the supposed owner. He is soon involved in a series of murders and intrigues involving a man posing as the client, the client's wife and the man who claims ownership of the stolen gold.
