"Dr. Terror's Tales of Terror" was a hosted horror move show with Mike Cheever as "Dr. Terror" presenting movies on Friday nights at 10:30pm on WAND-TV Channel 17, Decatur, Illinois from 16 March 1973 till 4 February1977. Due to the success of Mike Cheever's previous show, "Nightwatch Presents Edgar Allan Poe", Clever continued with this new show, keeping his "Dr. Terror" character. Each week, Cheever would change the appearance of "Dr. Terror" . The last movie presented was "King Kong" on 4 February 1977. In 1975, WCIA Channel 3 launched "Horror Classics (1975)" to compete with "Doctor Terror".—The Professor
