Believing God has abandoned him, Gregorius decides to build a hellish world to gain the Devil's attention. His descent into madness destroys all who enter, including his daughter Cecile, who tries to save him.

Gregorius believes God has deserted him. If his prayers won't be answered, he'll seek God's attention by building Hell on Earth for the Devil. Betrayal begets Anger, Hatred and finally - Madness.
