In 2017 Anna continues to be persecuted by her look-a-like dead two hundred years before. In 1818 investigations into the death of Luigi Bacchi and the infanticide Emma Rigoni are assigned to a new detective.

April 11th, 1818: Count Caramello, Chief of Police, decided to reopen the case of the infanticide Emma Rigoni, connected to the strange death of two other women, Luigia Bacchi and Vittoria Clementi and the suicide of a priest, occurred in the previous year. The case is assigned to Luigi Dosi, a Commissioner with few experience on criminal investigations but in spite able to discover hidden truths. At the same time, July 25th 2017, the police still suspect that Anna Persico is involved in the disappearance of her friend Angela. Anna has to prove her innocence and prepare the final battle with her doppelganger Vittoria Clementi that has haunted her for several days.
