Life in a traditional small town turns upside down when a 'modern product' is introduced to them. Is it a boon or a bane?

The village which had only traditional and cultural background where people's entertainment was to enjoy listening to the radio's, watching live plays like Yakshagana, Harikatha, playing Volleyball, Drama and much more in and around the village and the same was going on well from year on year until a product got introduced to the village, which ruled the people unknowingly in such a way that the content describes about a person with dominating nature against the people of the village where the entire village is undeveloped without any basic amenities.
