An orphan girl finds her family and the love of her life, who is from one of the richest families in town. On her road to reunite with her family she faces many obstacles.

Maria de Jesus (aka Marichuy) and Juan Miguel are deeply in love, but they don't fully know when Juan Miguel moves her in with the Velardes, that they, the mean judge Patricio and his wife Cecilia, are her birth parents; Isabela and Estefanfia have this strong scam being freeloaders and gold diggers they both put The Velardes' orphan daughter Maria de Jesus in turmoil having her own father and his servant against her, due to the way Marichuy was raised on the streets, was their only escape plan being rich, liars doing their best to keep the truth from coming out before the Velardes and others finds out that orphan Marichuy is really their daughter that her father the judge hates with passion.

As time goes by Marichuy, being her stubborn self, comes to get feelings with family, foes, and her beloved new husband Juan Miguel; she believes that she saw his face in her dreams long before they ever met. Marichuy's feelings being crushed, disappointed, but deep down they both love one another, and now they're expecting a baby.
