Anna (Evgeniya Loza) is a young artist and lives with her mother (Valentina Telichkina) in a cozy house on the riverbank. She earns her living by selling paintings, serving the modest needs of her family.
The fate brings her to a successful businessman Filonov (Sergey Nasibov), who falls madly in love with her, and makes Anna a proposal that she accepts. Anna is happy. A loving husband, a big house, prosperous life and expectation of a child. What else can any girl dream of?
But in the twinkling of an eye the idyll life ends. A simple trip with her husband to the country turns into a terrible tragedy.
