Doctor Maria Deen lives with her mother Femke and her three children on a island. She helps the people with medical problems and has to deal with her personal life.

Dokter Deen lives on the Dutch isle of Vlieland where she has a docter's practice and deals with every day life in a small town community. She deals with issues with her ex-husband and her new lover, her children and her mother who suffers from dementia.—Rob
