Heera comes from a Hindu family where-by several run-ins with a young Christian woman named Ruby leads to a romantic attraction. Ruby's parents, Steven and Stella objects to the lovers relationship thus arranging Ruby's marriage else where and at the same time throwing Heera behind bars.
