A man refuses to marry the girl of his parents' choice, while a doctor/tutor attempts to deal with wise-cracking patients and students.

While Dr. Sharma, a doctor specializing in children's ailments, also doubles as a tutor to several children, attempts to deal with their respective pranks, he must deal with disappointment when foreign-settled Ranbir Chopra refuses to marry his daughter, Kareena, and goes to seek a bride on his own. He meets with and falls head-over-heels in love with naive and child-like Soniya, and both decide to elope.
