Didi works as a butler at Pedro's father's house. While browsing an old photograph album, he and 10-year-old Pedro find an ancient map with the route to a treasure. They decide to search for it. Didi is the butler of Dr. Samuel Walker, Pedrinho´s father. Together, Didi and Pedrinho will go to a mysterious abandoned hotel in serach for tracks of the liutenant Lucas, Pedrinho´s grandfather. Lucas was considered a deserter of the British Army for being with a group of militaries who had stolen a valuable treasure, a shipment of gold, when his plane had fallen in Brazil, near São Paulo.
Didi, who always dreamed of being a treasure raider, is the one who is able to find the gold and to recoup the dignity of the Liutenant Lucas, a hero.
