Pu, a young Red Dao ethnic woman of eighteen, stands at life's precipice. Clutching a medical school acceptance and a family debt notice, she wrestles with the weight of a forced marriage to the Chai family. One side of filial piety, the other side of the future, Pu decided to leave her homeland to find the ideal of youth. Chai, the son of the richest family in the village, loves Pu passionately and has only one biggest goal in his life - to marry Pu. Chai's love for children accidentally becomes an obstacle on Pu's educational path. Also because of love, Chai is willing to cancel the debt paper, letting Pu pursue her dream of going to college. If Pu spent her student years filled with joy with her friends, Chai faced a family incident that forced him to go to the downtown and turn over a new page of his thorny life.
