A homeless drug addict is taken in by a caring but struggling exotic dancer. They struggle with poverty and drug addiction until tragedy strikes.

An exotic dancer named Nicole (who volunteers at a soup kitchen takes it upon herself to feed and house a heroin addicted vagabond named Jude. Through the course of this, they fall in love. Struggling with poverty, drug addiction, alcohol abuse, betrayal, and past demons, they eventually split up. Jude travels a descent into madness that leads to the murder of Nicole and her best friend. Jude disposes of the bodies by cooking them into the stew served at Nicole's soup kitchen.—Jay Winston Gill
