In a post apocalyptic world, a lone man must fight along side an aspiring rebel fighting force to free a mining town from the clutches of a power-hungry tyrant.

In a winter of peril a deadly virus, political turmoil, and nuclear war destroy the world order. Out of the ashes, small Western towns survive as local war lords and tyrants attempt to rebuild a civilization based on fear. A lone traveler, Gabriel, travels across a barren landscape and wanders into a small town as he makes his way west. Gabriel encounters Joan, a young woman who finds solace in her faith, and she hopes to create a rebellion against the tyrant, Lucius Caliban.
