Detroit Under S.T.R.E.S.S. is a documentary about the short-lived, highly controversial crime prevention and police decoy program from the early 1970s called "S.T.R.E.S.S.," i.e., "Stop The Robberies, Enjoy Safe Streets."

In 1971, the Detroit Police Department begins operating one of the most controversial decoy police units ever created, after one year of operating, Detroit becomes the city with the highest police-civilian fatal shootings as well as the city with the highest police officer deaths.
