Suffocating under the overwhelming pressure of compromise between social dictation and the need to break free, a tempestuous young woman living in a secluded village will finally get her chance in the person of her ephemeral saviour.

Trapped in a secluded provincial village on the outskirts of Alexandroupoli, twenty-year-old Despina feels the overwhelming pressure of compromise between social dictation and the tormenting need to break free, crushing her very shoulders. Undoubtedly, she is an untamed and tempestuous woman longing to spread her wings and fly away from what society forbids, but her father Theodoros, the village's cafe owner, is a strict, old-fashioned patriarch who rules the family with an iron hand. For years, Despina has been planning her escape but without success, when unexpectedly, Giorgos, a low-rank officer during his military service, will become her ephemeral saviour and probably her only way out of a mundane life's shackles. In the end, what lies ahead of them is utterly unimportant, after all, anything would be better than staying put and wither as youth's light swiftly dissipates..—Nick Riganas
