Petty crooks Mehdi and Hamid travel through remote areas of Morocco to recover loans for their agency from villagers. Their usual day takes a turn when they meet a highwayman.

In their wrinkled suits and ties, two petty crooks, Mehdi and Hamid, drive around southern Morocco in their car. Their mission: to recover a backlog of loans for their agency that have not been repaid by villagers overwhelmed by poverty and drought. Here comedy meets road movie and the film even veers into western territory when the two jaded mercenaries, under pressure themselves, cross paths with a highwayman.
