The disappearance of nine-year-old Jan Poulsen (Michael Hoppe) causes his parents, the handball star Mikkel (Nicklas Kingo) and his wife Tamara (Laura-Sophie Warachewicz), to panic. Shortly afterwards, the kidnappers make crazy demands: Mikkel should terminate the contract he has already signed with a large Parisian handball club and stay in Flensburg in the coming season. It makes sense that the perpetrators are a few crazy fans. Svenja Rasmussen (Katharina Schlothauer), who has now decided against returning to Hamburg, and Antoine "Tony" Haller (Eugene Boateng) investigate the fan scene with the help of club chairwoman Fiona (Romina Küper).
