About Prof. Unrat, a respected high school professor, who one day confiscates a postcard showing Lola Fröhlich, the singer/dancer at a local tavern. Visiting the tavern Der Blue Engel to reprimand any students he might find there, the professor falls under the spell of Lola Fröhlich. Soon he is completely lost.
