Sensational adventures of a young lady with her baby, born out of wedlock. Marrying the father, she discovers his worthlessness. George Barry, returning after two years' absence , finds that Marie, the daughter of wealthy parents, whom he still loves, is a mother. The father of the child, Serge Ricard, is a loafer , and though he makes no effort to do his duty towards Marie, she goes to him. Through a friend a post is offered him in the Argentine, on condition the couple marry. The benefactor is really the faithful George. The liner is wrecked, Serge perishes , but Marie is saved. Believing her child to be drowned, she loses her reason. The little one, however, has been rescued by some Chinese jugglers. George, as guardian angel, brings happiness. A considerable variety of settings are presented, including the beautiful home of Marie's parents, scenes on the liner, and realistic hospital interiors. The Decorative Arts Exhibition and the performance by Chinese jugglers are outstanding features.—Anonymous
