A thrilling horror film about six college friends who travel to an abandoned mining town in western Utah, called Death Canyon in search of treasure in the abandoned mines. The story is set as the friends take their home video cameras with them and capture their trip into the middle of the desert, miles away from any town or cell phone reception. The day starts out great while they explore the ruins of the town and look for treasure; however, as night falls things go awry as their friends disappear one by one. When the first friend disappears they struggle to decide what to do; leave immediately for help and save themselves or stay and look for their missing friend.—Bethany Pelton
