Private investigator Cunningham's services are required by millionaire Bryan Foster, the father of young Lolita, since he's been receiving death threats. It soon turns out they weren't idle threats.

Bryan Foster, a man of great fortune who lives retired on a Costa Brava estate with his daughter Lolita, has received a death threat. Foster goes to the Barcelona airport to meet Cunningham, an American private investigator to ask for help. The detective cannot help him because he must get on a plane that is about to take off. Hours later, they call Cunnigham telling him of Foster's death. Cunningham, with the help of Inspector Computer begins the investigation. Suspects are emerging and also an influential businessman who acts as a protector of Lolita.
