Synopsis

In the not too distant future, Australia suffers the spread of a man made virus which destroys and decimates the population turning normal people into mindless zombies. The rest of the world quarantines the country to ensure that no one can get in or out, thus containing the virus. With the virus contained, the world watched on as the land down under ripped itself apart. Over time the world forgot about Australia however, five years later, a satellite picks up lights and what looks like an intact pocket of civilisation. An Extreme-style British Documentary team, backed by an unknown benefactor, are covertly sent in to investigate, film and report back. When they find a small town of survivors complete with a mayor and a zombie mowing lawns they think they have the story of a life time. Little do they know there is a price for staying human, and their time might just be up.
