Growing up with his single mother, who says his absent father is 'the strongest man in the Netherlands', gets over more difficult for schoolboy Luuk, who at age twelve desperately needs a male role model, so he wants to find him. His new classmate helps him start a search by Inyernet, which yields a list of suspects they systematically eliminate or contact. Meanwile his mother's burly boyfriend René, a muscular friendly giant, also a ginger, virtually acts as substitute father, even partakes in the Dutch strongest man competition.—KGF Vissers
