One night, Colette sees from her window a large fire on the ground on the other side of the road. The next day, she hears the sound of hammers and sees huts growing between the trees. Curious, she decides to cross the road towards those strange inhabitants. She is welcomed by a Gypsy family from Romania. Gradually, Colette binds deeply with Eva, Sami and their two children.
