A dramatized interpretation of historical events of the run-up to the wedding of the Dutch crown prince Willem-Alexander (Roef Ragas) and Máxima Zorreguieta (Hadewych Minis). Prime Minister Kok (Bram van der Vlugt) tries to prevent a cabinet crisis and sends the Minister of State, Max van der Stoel (Eric van der Donk), to New York to tell father Zorreguieta (Simón Andreu) that he is not welcome at his daughter's wedding because of his role in the Videla regime in the 1970s.
