Three-part mini-series to the novel by D66 politician Jan Terlouw about the fate of politicians from a smaller political party.

The Third Chamber tells the story of the PSL and the eight faction members. To prevent them from being alienated from the electorate, as politicians they go 'into the country' where they are confronted with harrowing problems and gross abuses. When one of them encounters illegal practices during a project, the members of the group become involved in complications that personally touch them deeply and a very difficult decision has to be taken.
