Norm has just passed away from an accident. Instead of ending up in heaven or hell, he finds himself working for an agency that collects souls. While in training with a seasoned reaper who constantly annoys him (Meredith), he finds out that his girlfriend who is still alive on earth (Abby), is going to be Meredith's next assignment. He must do what he can to prevent Meredith from taking Abby's soul.
