'Day Into Night is a three-channel experimental. Across the three video panels, images are synchronized, juxtaposed, and contrasted in order to provide an impressionist narrative of three days in the lives of two families. No narration or subtitles are needed: viewers' attention is gently steered between the simultaneous images via the natural soundtrack or through visual dominance in the subject matter. 'Day Into Night' uses everyday details to create awareness of life's daily rhythms, and to display the innate harmony between Kudal's people and its land.—Anonymous
