Davy Wallace is a talented, troubled young artist, struggling to overcome a traumatic childhood, as he steps into the void of life after college. Eventually, he finds compassion in the form of an older, local high school teacher, Rob Walsh, who is grieving his own deep loss. Together, Davy and Rob find their way toward healing in this coming-of-age story, set in North Carolina. The film is adapted from Drew Bowen's 2020 novel, Davy Wallace.
