"Date el Bote" was a television contest program broadcast in the Basque Country (Spain) on ETB2 between 2001 and 2009, and sporadically on other FORTA regional channels, such as Telemadrid or Canal Sur). In the original version of Basque television, it was first presented by Jorge Fernández, being replaced by Carlos Sobera. It disappeared in December 2009 due to the low number of hearings it registered, since it was broadcast in the midday slot.
