The Krivant, a section of the Brahmin community that performs the last rite rituals are despised by the rest of the Brahmin community for commercializing it and emotionally exploiting the family of the deceased. The movie, whilst revealing the disturbing reality around the commercialization of the last rites, also showcases how the kids of the Kirvants inadvertently get involved in the business due to extreme poverty.
