Summaries

A little ghost longs to see the world in daylight. When his wish comes true, chaos ensues.

The little ghost lives with his best friend, the eagle owl, at Eulenstein Castle. His fondest wish is to see the world in daylight. One day, when the little ghost accidentally wakes up early, he realizes that it is actually not night, but bright day. It enthusiastically explores the world in daylight and is happy about the bright colors. But since it has turned black due to a ray of sunlight, people are afraid of the little ghost and it causes a lot of mischief. When the little ghost turns the historic festival of the siege of the city by the Swedes into chaos because he thought that General Torstenson, whom he had driven out, had returned, the eagle owl and three children help him. They ask the master watchmaker to set the incorrectly set town hall clock, which the ghost must obey, from midday to midnight. The next night the little ghost actually wakes up and can return to the castle to see the eagle owl. When it is hit by a moonbeam, it is happy to see that it has turned white again.
