A TV show host and ex all-American football player must enlist the help of four friends to save him from a dangerous encounter with the son of a kingpin.

Five friends graduate from college and try to navigate the world of music, by joining forces and launching a label. They become entangled in a local drug dynasty that goes back further than any of them could ever have dreamed. Other than being friends, their common denominator is their desire to succeed and be larger than life. They soon realize that "the only family you truly have is the one that you've made".
