Two young children discover love with the advent of adolescence.

In the lush forests of ancient Lesvos, the kind-hearted shepherd, Lamonas, stumbles upon an abandoned baby boy suckling the teat of a goat, and without a second thought, he takes him in, naming him, Daphnis. Likewise, Dryantas, another herder, finds a helpless little girl, whom she adopts, naming her, Chloe. The two kids grow together, and upon crossing the threshold of adolescence, they begin to experience the effects of the first love, unable to explain, however, what is happening to them. Now, Lykenio, who desires Daphnis, will stop at nothing to have him. Are Daphnis and Chloe, the two innocent young lovers, meant to be together?—Nick Riganas
