Summaries

Dancing in the Water follows Matt Moseley as he swims 25 miles non-stop across Lake Pontchartrain to publicize the cleanup of the world's largest estuary and the work of the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation. Since the lake is next to New Orleans, Matt swims Mardi Gras style accompanied by musicians and a boat full of Burning Man veterans for 15 hours under a full moon. Composer David Amram ( 'Splendor in the Grass' 'The Manchurian Candidate') improvises throughout the night and is joined at dawn by legendary New Orleans blues men Pappa Mail and Uganda Roberts to create a virtual Woodstock on water. Along the way we learn what it takes to restore a beautiful body of water.
