The story of a deaf girl who is fresh out of middle school and transitions to high school.
A teenage girl, Angel, never gives up in order to prove that she's born in this world for a divine purpose. She always struggles to realize her dreams, making her father happy without her mother who dies at childbirth.
At first Angel struggles to master the sign language, that's also picked up by her father and grandmother in great difficulty. After her grandmother dies, Angel only has her father as someone to talk to. The teachers at the special school suggest that Angel go to ordinary school because she's smart. Father decides to move to a big city so that Angel can grow in a more open environment.
Although rejected at first, Angel finds a school that accepts her. The world changes as she has to socialize and and live with normal people around her. She is shunned by some of her friends as they see her as a disabled person. She only has one best friend, Hendra.
One day Angel watches the school's music group and offers to join as a member, but she gets rejected. She cries beside his father who then tells her that she's born from a mother who's a pianist. Her father then teaches her how to play piano and Angel, though unable to listen to the tune, is able to play from the bottom of her heart. She gets to join the music group at school, though rebuffed by a group led by Agnes.
Angel wants to get out. But she's in a dilemma because her father is ill and wanting to watch her play in a concert. Returning to the music group, Angel infuriates Agnes who then tortures her and makes her hands injured. However, Angel is persistent and is finally able to perform on stage in a clown's makeup.
