This episode of India Alert depicts the story of the widowed woman, Shanti Devi who lived with her son named Vikram. She got her son married to a woman named Manisha but after the marriage Manisha's behaviour towards Shant Devi was very bad and humiliating. Manisha always tried to put her down and ensured to portray the bad side of mother-in-law to Vikram. Shanti Devi realised the reason behind Manisha's such behaviour was her greed for their property and wealth.
