COPA HOTEL tells the story of 33-year-old FREDERICO GONZALES (Miguel Thiré), a photographer from Rio who lived abroad for many years and comes back to take ownership over his deceased father's property: a hotel in Copacabana. All kinds of characters, from wealthy guests to boardwalk prostitutes, bring sex stories, humor, drama and romance to the "Copa Hotel", giving shape to a diverse and contemporary mosaic. Dealing with the hotel's desperate financial situation and a Rio de Janeiro that has changed completely, imposing a handful of its own rules would, at first sight, be the greatest challenges for this Brazilian with a foreigner's mindset.
