After an accident at school, the teenage-girl Anja must battle cancer while participating in summer camp, preparing for a soccer tournament and dealing with boys.

After an accident at school, Anja learns that she has cancer and starts undergoing treatment at a hospital. During her long stay there, she meets other teenage cancer patients and makes friends. She is able to go to summer camp, prepare for a soccer tournament, and become acquainted with a nice guy named Jonas.—Luca Elliot Sanderson

Anja is in love with soccer, and she doesn't let the boys stop her from doing what she loves. She gets into a fight with a boy who hits her in the face and makes her nose bleed; when she gets home, she starts bleeding again and her mother takes her to the hospital. After a few days she must go back to the hospital: the doctors found out that she has leukemia. She fights it and still tries to go back to school and keep playing soccer, but it isn't easy.
