Synopsis

Synopsis

This is a story about an elderly Romanian couple - Constantin and Elena who enrich each moment of their routine with stories, old-wisdom talks and mostly with singing. They are not afraid of death and discuss the topic in a practical way. They are proud of what they are leaving behind and they are happy with their love.

Constantin and Elena sing all day, to themselves, to each other, to animals and to nature. They sing about love, bravery, life and death. They often sing old Romanian songs at the top of their voices, or drone Constantin's battle songs from his army days.

Following one year in the couples life, this film draws a beautiful image of a simple love story.
