A Chinese man moves illegally to Japan in order to improve his life and gain opportunity. He buys and assumes a false identity at considerable cost and is, therefore, more than happy to accept a job offer meant for someone else. Having forged his way into a new setting once again he has to contend with the reality that the job is preparing traditional Japanese soba noodles.—aghaemi

Chen Liang (Yulai) is a young Chinese man and an illegal immigrant in Japan. One day he receives a call about a job offer meant for someone else. In his desperation, he pretends to be the intended recipient in order to get the job, which turns out to be work at a traditional Japanese soba restaurant. He starts his new life living and working with the elderly soba master, albeit in fear that his identity could be exposed at any moment.
