A dark abandoned fortress, somewhere in the Netherlands. Brian, an expat from New York, is composing the ultimate love letter in an effort to win back his lost love. The obsessive Brian fights against the demons in his head, but it turns out he is not alone in the fortress. Cries for help are heard deep from the cellars. Slowly he loses his grip on reality and begins to confuse past and present. And Brian's mission to be reunited with his great love - to be complete again - ends in disaster.
