Two detectives interrogate a woman, with a dark and mysterious past, whom they believe may have knowledge that could lead to the capture of a vicious serial killer.

Since the late 1990's, a serial killer with the pseudonym Wayward Killer, has prey upon predominantly young men. By the late 2010's, two detectives have begun their investigation into the most recent murders, after having connected cases from multiple small towns throughout the last two decades. The detectives investigation eventually leads them to interrogating a woman from the small community of Kingsland, where the murders first began. Detectives Barren and Gregory believe the woman may have knowledge that could lead to the capture of the Wayward Killer.
