A jewelry-store owner's nephew wins the lottery, but lets his uncle cash it in so that his wife he's divorcing doesn't get half of it. Unbeknownst to him, his uncle and his wife are an item, and his uncle ends up killing him with her help.

Freddie Brower, a down-on-his-luck photographer in the final stages of a divorce, wins $30 million in the lottery. In order to not share it with his wife before the divorce is finalized, he arranges for his uncle Leon to cash in the ticket and give Freddy the money after the divorce, but uncle Leon Lamarr has ideas of his own.—Jerry Milani <[email protected]>

Freddie Brower, a guy who is going through a messy divorce wins $30 million in the lottery. In order to keep his wife from making a claim on the money, he asks his uncle Leon Lamarr to claim the money for him. Leon agrees, but it turns out he is broke, so he kills him - and Freddy's wife is helping him. When Columbo investigates Freddy's death, he goes to Leon and learns he's the lottery winner; however, certain things don't add up, which make Columbo think Freddy's death might not be an accident.[email protected]
