A holiday film about single mom Melody Miller, who must leave her dream job as a public-school music teacher to work in home health care when she is faced with the prospect of raising her precocious daughter Katie on her own. One of Melody's clients, Major Cole, has a stroke, and his son John hurries home to be with his family. John turns out to be none other than country-music superstar "Johnny Colorado", taking an unexpected break from his "Colorado Christmas" album concert tour. With Melody's help, Major's physical healing begins, along with the healing of some old family wounds, and a romance develops between Melody and John. Then an old flame of John's arrives at the ranch.
